In a world where time is precious, comfort in your own skin matters. Modern laser hair removal offers a calm, reliable way to simplify care—fewer ingrowns, less irritation, and less time spent shaving. It isn’t about perfection; it’s about autonomy, comfort, and quiet confidence in everyday life.
Why DEKA Motus AX?
I started as a skeptical client. My first laser experience elsewhere was painful and not very effective. With DEKA, the difference was immediate—comfortable sessions, quieter skin, real progress. I only recommend what I use myself, and Deka is the reason I chose to offer laser at Bloom.
What technology does DEKA use?
DEKA Motus AX is an alexandrite laser (755 nm) with Moveo technology. It combines:
Moveo “gliding” delivery: many gentle, high-frequency pulses while the handpiece glides over the skin. Heat builds gradually in the follicle instead of sharp, painful flashes.
Sapphire contact cooling: a cooled sapphire tip keeps the skin surface comfortable and protected.
A thin layer of clear gel: improves contact and makes movement smooth and even.
Alexandrite vs Diode: What’s the Difference?
Both remove hair, but alexandrite 755 nm targets melanin more precisely—so on lighter-to-medium skin and finer dark hairs it often gives faster, more visible reduction. Diode systems (especially single “stamped” flashes) can feel sharper/hotter, while DEKA’s Moveo technology makes treatments gentler and more even thanks to the cooling sapphire tip and gliding delivery.
Is DEKA Motus AX right for you?
If your hair is brown to black and your skin is fair to medium (Fitzpatrick I–III phototype), alexandrite 755 nm is typically an excellent match.
Darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick V–VI): safety first
People with deeper skin tones (Fitzpatrick V–VI) have more epidermal melanin, which absorbs alexandrite 755 nm energy along with the hair. That raises the risk of surface overheating, burns, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
For this reason, alexandrite (including Motus AX) is usually not the first choice.
