In general, laser hair removal is considered a safe procedure. However, during pregnancy there is no single medical consensus on whether it is recommended. That is why many guidelines advise postponing the treatment until after pregnancy.

At Bloom, we always choose the most caring and safest approach. Therefore, we do not perform laser hair removal during pregnancy — the health and peace of mind of the expectant mother are more important to us than any procedure.

During breastfeeding, laser hair removal is generally not prohibited and, based on available information, is not considered to pose a risk to breast milk. However, there are a few important nuances to keep in mind.

  • At this time, hormonal balance may still be unstable, which can make results weaker or less even.

  • We recommend waiting at least 3–4 months so the body has time to recover a little.

  • The most long-lasting results are usually achieved once hormonal levels have stabilized.

  • For some women, the skin may also be more sensitive during this period.

If you’re unsure, sometimes the best decision is simply to wait. Well-being and inner peace always come first.
